Privacy Policy

Zeus Intelligence Systems, Inc. ("Zeus," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Zeus AI website builder accessible at buildwithzeus.com and its subdomains. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information. By using Zeus, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a Zeus account, we collect your email address and password (stored as a secure hash). We do not collect your name, phone number, or billing information unless you voluntarily provide it.

Content You Provide

Zeus stores the content you create through the platform, including:

  • Prompts and chat messages you send to the AI
  • Website files generated on your behalf (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images)
  • Project names, settings, and configuration
  • CMS collections and content items
  • Uploaded assets (images and other media)
  • Website URLs you submit for redesign analysis

All project files are stored in isolated, per-user storage buckets. Your files are not accessible to other users.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use Zeus, including:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type
  • Pages visited and features used within the platform
  • Timestamps of actions (project creation, message sends, deployments)
  • Error logs and performance metrics

AI Interaction Data

Conversations with the Zeus AI — including your prompts and the AI's responses — are stored to power features like conversation history, checkpoint restoration, and iterative editing. We may use anonymized conversation data in aggregate to improve our AI models and product quality. We will never use your specific project content to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Providing the service: Generating websites, storing your projects, deploying to subdomains, and serving your published websites to visitors.
  • AI processing: Your prompts and website context are sent to AI providers (including Anthropic and Google) to generate website code, analyze designs, and power chat functionality. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements with us.
  • Authentication and security: Verifying your identity, detecting abuse, and protecting your account.
  • Product improvement: Understanding how features are used to improve the platform. This is done with anonymized and aggregated data.
  • Communications: Sending transactional emails (password resets, account notifications). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
  • Legal compliance: Fulfilling our obligations under applicable law.

3. Published Websites

When you publish a website with Zeus, it is deployed to a subdomain under buildwithzeus.com (e.g., your-site.buildwithzeus.com) or a custom domain you configure. Published websites are publicly accessible on the internet.

Static assets (images, etc.) for published websites are served through Cloudflare's global edge network. This means Cloudflare may cache your website's public content for performance purposes. Cloudflare's infrastructure is subject to their own privacy policy.

You are solely responsible for the content of websites you publish. Do not publish content that includes personal data of third parties without proper legal basis and disclosures.

4. Third-Party Services

Zeus uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Supabase: Database, file storage, and authentication infrastructure. Your account data and project files are stored on Supabase's infrastructure.
  • Anthropic (Claude): AI model provider used for website generation, design grading, and chat functionality.
  • Google (Gemini): AI model provider used for certain website generation and analysis tasks.
  • Cloudflare: Edge CDN and DNS for published websites and platform performance.
  • Railway: Cloud infrastructure provider hosting the Zeus backend services.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We only share your data with the above providers as necessary to operate the service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and projects for as long as your account is active. If you delete a project, its files are removed from storage. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and project data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Conversation history and AI chat logs are retained for the lifetime of your account to support features like checkpoint restoration and iterative editing. You may request deletion of specific conversation data by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Portability: Request an export of your project files and data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to certain types of processing, such as use of your data for product analytics.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Zeus uses session cookies issued by Supabase to keep you authenticated. These are strictly necessary for the service to function and do not require consent.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral advertising. We do not participate in cross-site tracking.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure credential storage (bcrypt hashing), isolated per-user storage buckets, and role-based access controls. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Zeus account.

9. Children's Privacy

Zeus is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the Zeus dashboard or sending an email to your registered address. Continued use of Zeus after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
